HERE at Outernet Partners with Youth Music to Support ‘Rescue the Roots’

HERE at Outernet is proud to announce a yearlong charity partnership with Youth Music, supporting their £1 million ‘Rescue the Roots’ campaign—a vital effort to protect the future of grassroots youth music across the UK.

Through this partnership, we’re joining forces to create opportunities for young people to develop their skills both on stage and behind the scenes. From hosting performances by Youth Music artists to offering behind-the-scenes training in areas like production, tech, and marketing, we’re committed to nurturing the next generation of music talent.

As part of our support, all HERE at Outernet guestlist entries will include a £5 minimum donation, with proceeds going directly to the campaign. With major shows from artists like Kaytranada and DIIV this year, these contributions will make a real impact.

We’re also opening up The Forge at The Lower Third—our intimate event space—for Youth Music gigs, giving young artists a platform to perform and grow.

The Rescue the Roots campaign addresses the urgent funding crisis facing community music spaces, aiming to support over 18,000 young people nationwide. With match funding in place, every donation has double the impact.
